I am getting ready to go to Morocco at the invitation of the Anna Lindh Foundation (ALF) President Mr. Andre Azoulay, Advisor to His Majesty Mohammed VI, King of Morocco, to be one of the 5 main speakers who will discuss the resources and mechanisms of participation of youth in local decision making and local governments at the World Summit of Local and Regional Leaders, Rabat 2013.
Lebanon Development Union (LDU) and the Youth and Culture Center – Zouk Mikael will be at the heart of a discussion attended by over 90 participants from around the world.
I will be talking about the role of women in local governments and grassroots movement, as well as personal initiative and the idea of leadership in public service.
